Make Money in Crypto by Playing Online NFT Games

Did you know you can make hundreds, if not thousands of dollars per day playing online games? Okay more realistically, you will only make a few cents to a few dollars per day unless you get in early and play for several hours a day. NFT games have been around for a few years but they have been on the rise in the past few months. These games are a great way to make passive income if you are already a huge gamer. NFT’s or Non-Fungible Tokens allow you to own digital assets. In the online gaming world, you can own and sell unique weapons, clothing, cars, creatures, or feature sets.

The way these NFT games work is that you can purchase items or upgrade using your cryptocurrency so that you can make money in the form of Crypto as you play these games. You can even stake your crypto to earn interest. The most popular NFT game at this time is Axie Infinity. This Ethereum-based game is likened to Pokemon in that you can collect and battle your Axie’s that come in different types: water, bug, plant, beast, etc. A popular racing game is F1 Delta Time where you can earn crypto as you win more races at the cost of spending crypto to upgrade your car. CryptoKitties is one of the oldest NFT-based games where you can buy, breed, and sell customizable cats. Like fantasy football? Try Sorare. Like trading card games? Try Gods Unchained. Like virtual simulation games? Try Evolution Land. Like RPG games? Try ChainZ Arena.

Some of these games allow you to buy and earn using two or three different crypto currencies, but most of the popular games operate on Ethereum due to their smart contracts. Smart contracts is how these NFT purchases work. Because Ethereum is now the second most popular crypto currency floating around $2400 per ETH, it is expensive with a long Return on Investment (ROI). For example, your ROI on Axie Infinity will likely take a year or longer depending on how much Ethereum you spend to play and how much you play the game. You can also lose money as the price of Ethereum goes down. A friend of mine got in early and makes about $50 per day for only 15 minutes of daily gameplay.

You can also risk it by playing a game that uses a little known crypto currency. These games are cheaper to play, but you may never see a return on investment unless more people start investing in that specific crypto. You are essentially getting paid a few cents or a few dollars per hour with the hope that the worth of your crypto will multiply one day. The safer bet is to go with an Ethereum-based game since the value of Ethereum is likely to increase over time. Want to invest in Ethereum, Bitcoin, or another Cryptocurrency?
